Complete dentures: are you really ready for easy and difficult cases???

 

The purpose of this course is to teach the student how to treat patient with complete denture.

Students will acquire the knowledge and skills to diagnose and treat patients requiring a complete.

Knowledge & understanding

 

Upon completion of the course the graduate and the student must know and understand the knowledge and skills to diagnose and treat patients requiring a complete denture, including:

1) Understanding the types of impression

2) Understanding how to make the impression

3) Record the jaw relation of completely edentulous patient

4) Construction of complete denture

5) Basis of practice management

6) Maintenance of infection control and a safe working environment

 

Intellectual skills

 

1) Let the students focus on understanding topics not memorizing only.

2) Recognize and effectively utilize all sources for continuing professional development and life-long learning.

3) Encourage the student to solve different problems that usually encountered in dental practice.

4) This course will help the students to construct complete denture.
